Outer Banks Water Safety provides a professional ocean rescue service tailored specifically to the Town of Duck. Our team has over 30 years of combined experience in high-surf environments. We prioritize rapid response and preemptive hazard identification to keep our beaches safe and scannable.
Operations & Guidelines

Duck Patrol Locations: Covering all major beach access points in Town.

Daily Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (In-Season May–September).

Safety Response: Preemptive identifies rip currents and provides rapid medical aid.

Ocean Safety & Response

Operating daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM during the peak season, our team utilizes advanced equipment and high-visibility protocols to ensure every swimmer in Duck remains within sight of professional protection. We emphasize education as the first line of defense, keeping the public informed on tide changes and rip current risks.
